There is no upper limit in the product. You can schedule a letter for next Tuesday or for 2050. Be aware that the further out you go, the more likely your recipient's email address has changed — so it is worth revisiting long-dated letters occasionally.

Yes. Until the moment it is delivered you can edit it, change the date, change recipients, pause it or delete it. After delivery it cannot be recalled, in exactly the way an email cannot.

Yes — up to five people per letter, the same on every plan including Free. Each of them gets their own private link, and each can have a different delivery date if you want one.

Yes, on Premium and above. Pick a date and choose to repeat it every year or every month, and set whether it stops after a number of times, on a date, or not at all — a birthday letter that arrives every year, from one letter you wrote once. On Free, Basic and Plus you can schedule any single date you like, as often as you like.

Images, voice notes, video and documents such as PDFs, alongside the letter itself. Attachments are stored privately, encrypted, and are only ever reachable through a short-lived link issued to your recipient — never by a public URL.

Only how it looks. The font is how your writing is set for whoever reads it — a page of handwriting rather than a page of print, if that is what the words deserve. It does not change the words, when the letter arrives, or when it can be read. The same is true of the font on a public post: it changes nothing about who can see the post or when it is revealed.

An email saying a letter is waiting for them from you, with a private link to read it. They do not need an account, and they do not need to install anything. The notification never includes the letter's text.

Every letter has a delivery trail — queued, sent, opened or failed — visible to you. If a delivery fails, it is retried and you are told, so a bad address never silently swallows a letter.

We authenticate our email with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, which is what keeps us out of spam folders in the ordinary case. For an important letter, it is worth telling your recipient in advance to expect it.

Yes, and many people do — a note to open in ten years is one of the most common first letters written here.

Technically yes, and we will not pretend otherwise. To email a letter on your behalf our servers must be able to read it, so MyWishLetter is not end-to-end encrypted. We restrict that access to the smallest possible set of systems, log privileged actions, and never read letter content for support. The full account is on the security page.

No. Nothing you write here trains any model — not ours, not anybody else’s — and your letters are not sent to any analytics service or third-party tool. There is one thing worth knowing alongside that: if you press the AI writing help yourself, the title and text you have written are sent to a model running in our own AWS account to produce the suggestion, and we do not store what it suggests. Your attachments are never sent. It is off until you press it, and the privacy policy sets out the whole of it, dictation included.

Your recipient sees the letter and not who wrote it. Nothing we send them carries your identity — not the notification, the reading page, the file names, or the link itself. It means anonymous to your recipient, and not anonymous to MyWishLetter: every letter belongs to an account and has a Letter ID, and we can always find the account behind one. That is deliberate, because an unsigned letter nobody could ever be held to would make this a tool for harassment. MyWishLetter does not disclose a sender's identity to the recipient except where required by applicable law, valid legal process, or where necessary to address serious misuse, safety, fraud, harassment, or violations of our Terms. Tell us about it. Every letter carries a Letter ID that looks like MWL-7F29K4, at the bottom of the letter and in the email that brought it — quote that on the report page and a person will read it. You do not need an account, and you do not need to paste the letter. We will not tell the sender who reported them.

People you nominate who can confirm a condition you have defined — for example, that something has happened to you — so that a conditional letter can be released. They cannot read your letters, cannot see who your recipients are, and cannot change anything. A missed reminder on its own never releases a letter.

Yes, and it is a real one: unlimited letters, unlimited drafts and unlimited deliveries, up to five recipients per letter, photos and voice notes, anonymous letters, scheduled delivery, and full delivery confirmation. The one limit is space — 100 MB — and we show ads on our public pages, never beside a letter. See pricing.

Nothing is deleted, and you keep full access to read, export and delete everything — a paid plan never buys custody of your own words. What does stop is sending: five days after a paid plan ends, new letters and uploads are paused and anything scheduled, including inactivity delivery, is held rather than sent. Renewing releases the hold and sends whatever came due while it was held. Letters that had already arrived stay with their recipients, always. If you would rather not pay at all, the Free plan keeps scheduling and inactivity protection at its own capacity — nothing about safety or getting your words out has ever been behind a payment.

No, on any plan including Free. Write as many letters as you like, to as many people as you like, delivered whenever you choose — there is no monthly count and nothing resets on the 1st. What the paid plans buy is space: 100 MB on Free, up to 100 GB, which is what photographs, voice notes and video actually need. Above that they add more attachments per letter, deliveries that repeat, finer delivery controls, and no ads. What unmetered assumes is fair use — a person writing letters rather than a script sending bulk messages — and the terms say plainly what we would do about the difference.

Yes. Every price you see — on the pricing page, in the app and on the payment screen — is the full amount, with all applicable taxes already in it. ₹299 means ₹299 leaves your account: nothing is added at checkout, and there is no separate tax line at the end. The same is true of the annual prices.

Email support within seven days of a charge and we will refund an unused subscription period. We would rather return your money than have you resent a product that is meant to be reassuring.

It is the right question to ask of anyone holding a letter for 2038, and we will not answer it with a slogan. We have no escrow arrangement or third-party trustee today. What we commit to is this: if we ever wind down, we will email every user with undelivered letters well in advance, and we will provide a full export of your content so nothing is lost by our silence. Until we can offer something stronger, keep your own copy of anything irreplaceable.

From your settings, at any time, without asking us and without charge. Deleting your account removes your letters, recipients and delivery history.
