How the referral program works

There are no points, no coins, no credits, no vouchers and no store balance. Every reward is an amount in rupees, paid to your UPI ID or bank account.

One thing: somebody you invited creates an account.

They create an account. ₹15 for each person who arrives through your link and signs up, and the same ₹15 to them. Neither of you has to pay for anything. Both amounts wait out the same verification period below, and if the referral is judged fabricated both are withdrawn together.

That is the whole of it. There is no extra commission if they go on to pay for a plan — you earn the same for inviting somebody who never spends a rupee here.

One reward per person you invite, and once only. Nothing they pay for afterwards — a plan, a renewal, an upgrade — earns anything further, because the reward is for bringing somebody to MyWishLetter and not for what they spend here.

When somebody opens your link we remember it in their browser for 30 days. If they create an account in that time, the referral is yours. After that the link still works, but it no longer earns a reward.

A referral is recorded once and does not change afterwards. If two people send the same person a link, the one whose link was opened most recently before they signed up is the one recorded.

Sometimes a link is opened in one app and the account is created in another, and the referral is lost on the way in. So the code can also be typed in by hand, under Settings → Referred by. It earns the same ₹15 for each of you.

That field is open for the first 24 hours after an account is created, and then it closes. It can be used once and cannot be changed afterwards, so a code that belongs to somebody you did not mean would credit them instead — check it before you save it.

Once those 24 hours have passed with nobody named, the account is recorded as referred by Self and credited ₹10. That is the ordinary outcome for finding MyWishLetter on your own, it happens without you doing anything, and it waits out the same 3-day period as every other reward. It is credited once per account and never again.

A new reward is pending for 3 days, then becomes available to withdraw. The wait exists because a payment can be refunded or disputed in that window, and a reward on money that came back would have to be taken off you afterwards.

If the payment that earned a reward is refunded, the reward is reversed. If it had already been paid to you, we do not ask for it back — the balance is adjusted so it is not paid twice, and the record of what was paid stays exactly as it was.

A reward for inviting somebody is only paid out once their account is verified on both channels: a confirmed email address and a verified WhatsApp number. This is the one rule that keeps the cash going to real people, and it is the reason it is a flat rule rather than a judgement — a second mailbox takes a minute, and a second phone number that answers WhatsApp does not.

A reward for a friend who has not finished verifying is earned and waiting, not lost. It stays on your balance, it is shown to you as waiting, and it becomes withdrawable the moment they finish — there is no deadline on it and nothing expires. Your Give & Earn page names the amount and how many friends it is waiting on.

Your own account needs the same two: a confirmed email address and a verified WhatsApp number, before a withdrawal can be sent. You can complete both under My Profile.

The minimum withdrawal is ₹500. A request withdraws everything currently available rather than an amount you type, which is deliberate: it removes any chance of a request and a balance disagreeing.

You need a saved UPI ID or bank account before you can withdraw. We ask for nothing else — no PAN, no address, no documents — and we never see or store a card number.

Every withdrawal request is reviewed by a person before the money is sent. That review looks at your account, at the accounts you referred and whether each of them is verified on both channels, at how quickly each account was created after your link was opened, and at whether several of them arrived from the same device or the same network. It exists for one purpose: to be sure the accounts behind a cash reward are different people. We do not store anybody's IP address — what is kept is a scrambled fingerprint that can only answer "did these two arrive from the same place", which is all the review ever asks of it.

Where that review finds accounts created to collect the reward rather than to use MyWishLetter, the rewards from them are not paid and the account can be removed from the program. The decision is ours to make. Nothing on this page ever affects the letters in an account.

Withdrawals move through requested, processing and completed. A failure says why, and the money returns to your available balance so you can correct the details and try again.

One account can earn up to ₹10,000 in referral rewards per calendar month. It exists so that a single account cannot be used at industrial scale; it is far above what anybody inviting people they actually know will reach.

Referring yourself, whether with a second email address, a second account or a friend's device. Buying subscriptions on other people's behalf to collect the reward. Posting your link where it is not wanted — comment spam, unsolicited messages, groups you are not part of. Claiming to be MyWishLetter, or promising anything on our behalf. The automatic referred by Self credit above is not this: it happens by itself, once per account, and needs no second account to collect it.

Referrals are checked for these patterns automatically. Where something looks wrong, the reward is held and a person reviews it rather than being refused by a machine — and a reward that is held is not lost while it is being looked at. An account used to abuse the program can be removed from it; the letters in that account are never affected by anything on this page.

Your link never tells the person who receives it that you sent it. Your Give & Earn page never tells you who accepted it — you see the date somebody joined and what you earned, and nothing that identifies them.

Nothing about anybody's letters, recipients, delivery dates, photos, voice notes or videos is part of this program in any way.

The amounts and periods on this page can change. A change applies to rewards earned after it — anything already earned keeps the terms it was earned under. If we stop the program entirely, rewards already earned are still paid and this page stays available.

You can stop taking part by not sharing your link. There is nothing to cancel and no balance that expires.
